Some facts may not useful for you

You wanted to know...

1)      Giraffe sleep requirements vary between 5 minutes and 2 hours.(Ask me)

2)      Hippopotamus fart through their mouth (eeks!! How weird)

3)      The amount of Carbon present in human body, altogether can form 900 Pencils ( and we complained that we don’t have pencils)

4)      The amount of Iron present in human body, altogether can form 3 nails (enough to nail us)

5)      Most tigers live in India. Most are actually kept as private pets in the United States. There are estimated to be 12,000 kept as pets, 4,000 in Texas alone (now that’s what you call dare (d)evils)

6)      Like humans who are typically right- or left-handed, elephants are usually right- or left-tusked. The dominant tusk, called the master tusk, is generally shorter and more rounded at the tip from wear (is out prominent hand shorter)

7)      Everest is not the tallest mountain. This is true if one measures from base to peak: then Mauna Kea in Hawaii is the tallest. However, most often, when people speak of Everest as the tallest mountain, they are referring to it being the highest point above sea level. (now that’s called relativity)

8)      An adult elephant can consume 140–270 kg (300–600 lb) of food a day. 60% of that food leaves the elephant's body undigested (what a waste)

9)      Elephants gestation (pregnancy) period lasts about 22 months (630–660 days), the longest gestation period of any mammal (so sad)
